Sensual bungalow of seduction

*Special someone not included.

Leave the horse, bring your significant other and make use of the spa bath for some sexy time! Our introduction to the Airbnb life via the bungalow was fucking amazing!

In the heart of Elwood and backing onto the Elster canal, the bungalow gave us a place to unwind after we liquidated two houses worth of belongings. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Andre, a handsome stallion of a man with a loveable personality and warm smile. If that wasn’t enough of a welcome, he had provided a wine and cheese platter for our arrival and kept the fridge stocked with morning essentials. Suffice to say, we started our new life right!

The bungalow was homely without feeling like we were actually in someone else’s home. With a TV in the main living space and another in the bathroom (perfect for watching from the spa bath), it ensured I never missed a morning moment with Karl Stefanovic. The kitchen was big enough for two and was fully stocked with all the things, including a great set of cheese knives, coffee machine and a toaster. Well decorated, the wood cabin walls and ceiling made the place feel super cosy as we worked by the open fireplace during the days and enjoyed wine and cheese in the spa bath by night. If you’re looking for romance, bring that “special someone” here. Sorry guys, I believe Andre is taken so you’ll have to provide your own special someone.

Every day started with a morning adventure walk with the Lola Bear 🐻 along the canal, leading straight to the Ormond Rd strip, which is filled with cafes, restaurants and local bars. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the area as much as we’d intended (it’s ok Elwood, we’ll be back in October) but the places we did visit offered great Melbourne style coffee, south-side vibes (those from the St Kilda and Prahran areas know what I’m talking about) and delicious food. Hot tip for those in the area, the Hummingbird has brilliant coffee! We will be back and when we do, we’ll do Elwood right!

The verdict, the Elwood bungalow hosted by Andre rocked!
